Vacuum Packaging
Vacuum packing is a technique that eliminates air from the aluminum barrier foil before sealing. This process involves placing items within an aluminum foil package, extracting the air, and then sealing the package.
The primary goal of vacuum packing is to remove air from the bag to prolong the shelf life of the contents. This method is particularly effective in safeguarding products against corrosion and rust.
It is especially favored for export shipments that are exposed to seawater or air for extended periods, where humidity levels are high. The presence of moisture in the air can lead to rust formation on products. VCI Packaging (Volatile Corrosion -
Inhibitors)
The term VCI refers to volatile corrosion inhibitor technology, which is a vital ingredient in our products, particularly in packaging materials such as paper and poly film, aimed at preventing rust. This technology includes a variety of chemical compounds that release vapors to inhibit rust in confined spaces.
When metal is present, VCI molecules create a nano-sized protective layer that displaces moisture, thus preventing corrosion. We often describe VCI vapors as forming an invisible layer that shields the metal surface from moisture and the adverse effects of rust.
Rust occurs when metal is exposed to moisture and oxygen, leading to degradation. To prevent this, a protective barrier is necessary. Our VCI-coated films, papers, and emitters provide the anti-corrosion protection you require.
Palletization
The term palletization describes the process of loading and transporting goods on pallets.
