Vacuum Packaging

Vacuum Packaging

Vacuum packing is a technique that eliminates air from the aluminum barrier foil before sealing. This process involves placing items within an aluminum foil package, extracting the air, and then sealing the package.

The primary goal of vacuum packing is to remove air from the bag to prolong the shelf life of the contents. This method is particularly effective in safeguarding products against corrosion and rust.

It is especially favored for export shipments that are exposed to seawater or air for extended periods, where humidity levels are high. The presence of moisture in the air can lead to rust formation on products. By creating a thin film barrier, vacuum packing effectively prevents oxidation and protects the items from atmospheric exposure.
